Magura village, the Heaven from Piatra Craiului Mountains

Although it is only 35 kilometers from Brasov and a stone's throw from Bran- Moeciu, Magura village is far from the car noise and crowded city, with stunning landscapes, houses scattered on the hills and people who live a hard life in the mountains.

At over 1000 feet, Magura village stands as an old hearth, surrounded on all sides by the snowy peaks of Bucegi and Piatra Craiului mountains. Piatra Craciului is a true paradise of flora, here are approximately 30% of all species found in Romania (Piatra Craiului Pink is a rare alpine flower that can be found only in this massif). On the ridges mountain lives free the chamois, the bear, the wolf, the fox, the wild boar and the deer, all being protected.

Located inside the National Park Piatra Craiului, the area offers visitors breathtaking scenery and total relaxation that only nature can give: fresh air, whisper of brooks and cheerful voice of birds, meadows with beautiful flowers, wild strawberry flavors, freshly mown hay and smell of resin from nearby forests.
